Krissy Nordhoff is a staff songwriter for Integrity Music USA. Her love for writing began at age 5 when she penned her first song, “Miracles.” She was highly influenced lyrically by the hymns of the little country church she grew up in, in rural western Michigan. She also deeply loves Christian music and the church. Her heart is to use her life experiences to express worship, and bring others hope.
Her most well known song is YOUR GREAT NAME (co-written with Michael Neale, recorded by Natalie Grant,) which won the GMA Dove Award for “Worship Song of the Year” in 2012 and was also nominated for other awards including “Song of the Year.” Also charting on CCLI is MERCY TREE (co-written with Michael Neale, recorded by Lacey Sturm, Anthony Evans, Charles Billingsley.) It was recently featured on Billy Graham’s MY HOPE AMERICA television special.
Other songs Krissy has written on include OH PRAISE (Aaron Shust,) SEE YOU AGAIN (Charles Billingsley,) THRONE OF PRAISE (Phillips, Craig and Dean,) BACK TO LIFE (All About Worship,) and FIGHT FOR ME (Dustin Smith).
Krissy began mentoring female songwriters in 2011 with a group that continues to meet monthly called GIRLS WRITE OUT. She loves to encourage women to be a voice in the church.
Krissy lives in Franklin, TN with her husband Eric, two sons Alex and Kaden, and daughter Anthem. She attends Gateway Church Franklin.
Joy. Awe. Surrender. Restoration. These are just a few of the themes that worship leader Maribeth Dodd desires to lead people through in times of corporate worship. Through her leadership on and off stage she has a passion for people to experience the transformation worship can have on a life. “Worship is not about the music. It’s not just something that should happen on Sunday mornings. It’s a life choice. A daily surrender of our hearts. We should find ourselves worshiping at the kitchen sink, driving in our cars, in our place of business, in the best of times and even in the worst of times”, she says.
In 2002, Maribeth began leading worship on a weekly basis in the local church. She says, “I started ministry with a desperation for people to experience God’s life-changing presence as I had through personal and corporate worship times. My desire each week as I take the stage is to be a transparent and authentic worshipper who simply desires to lavish love on my God. My hope is that I encourage others to do the same.”
Maribeth is a leader of leaders both in ministry and business. She has a heart for the local church and emerging future leaders. She resides in Franklin, TN, with her husband, Pastor Chris Dodd, and their three boys Asher, Emerson and Jonas.
